The rate at which the Poor and Vulnerable Children (PVC’s) in Nigeria is increasingly alarming and calls for intervention. I have set up this fundraiser to raise funds of #200,000 to help 500 Poor and vulnerable children in Nigeria to access education.

The rate at which the Poor and Vulnerable Children (PVC’s) in Nigeria is increasingly alarming and calls for intervention.

 According to UNICEF, Nigeria has 2.8 million children that need education. The children have been greatly affected by the poverty level leaving most of them dropping out of school with some ending up into child marriage due to lack of access to scholastic materials, school uniform, food, sanitary towels (pads). Children in the rural communities of the region are faced with challenges to access education due to a lack of scholastic materials, food, and good medical services. They’re a great need for resources to support the PVC access to education and have a bright future.

 Education as we know is the fundamental right of a child. When a child is educated, that child becomes socially, mentally, morally, and spiritually sound and empowered. While some are sleeping on a single meal, the majority are unable to go to school due to a lack of educational materials and other basic needs.

Please support us, and be good Samaritans and well-wishers to help us fulfil the children’s dreams to have a brighter future that is fully empowered. I’ve set up this fundraising campaign with the hope to bring your support to the needy children by providing them with educational materials, including exercise books, pens, pencils, soap, jelly, uniforms, shoes, food, and tuition/fees. I am mobilizing donations and support from good Samaritans and well-wishers to help us fulfil the children’s dreams to have a brighter future that is fully empowered.

The donations will provide education requirements for 500 Poor and vulnerable children in primaries and secondary schools with stipends.
